James K. Doster of Dallas founded Doster Lighting, Inc. in 1983, banking on the belief that individual strengths and talents in various areas of lighting design would reinforce one another through collaboration. The goal was to take on challenging, complex lighting projects, to apply fresh thinking with each step, striving for the comprehensive integration of technology and design.
From the beginning, Doster Lighting has stressed quality over mass production, backing products and services with a complete one year warranty.
